Whew! I finally got a chance to sit down and write a blog. It’s been a busy couple of weeks.
We took a week off and went to one of our most favorite places on earth!
This is a little primitive camp site with lots of amazing horse trails. We try to make it down there a couple times a year. This time we invited 5 of the young people that work for us (crazy, huh?). As it turned out only 2 of them were able to go. 😦
Some other friends came down also, and on Sunday we all took a long ride to a cave.
Everyone made it out alive…although I had my doubts for awhile. This was WAY out of my comfort zone!
There are several placed we cross the Swan Creek while on the trails. We found a spot this year to “swim” the horses. What a blast! It was especially nice since it was about 85*.(To see the video please go to Crooked Brand Ranch Facebook page).
It’s so peaceful and relaxing here…that’s why we love is so much. The trails are so beautiful. Here, see for yourself.
Another fun part of camping is cooking over the fire pit. There is just something about food cooked over an open flame! So Good! Can you just smell those steaks cooking?!
I feel so very blessed to be able to spend a week in nature with my hubby, good friends, and the best horses around! Oh, and let’s not forget Moe the Ranch dog! Even he likes to relax! We had a little vehicle trouble this trip, even that inconvenience (as frustrating as it was) was all a part of the adventure. For me, these trips are all about making memories
Thanks for reading, be blessed,

Going into that cave would have been WAY out of my comfort zone, too.

I’m not sure I would have had the courage to go in the first time. Snakes and all…
